Sony shutting down Concord after poor launch

Sony's Concord Faces Early Demise

Sony's latest PlayStation game, Concord, is shutting down on September 6th after a disappointing launch. The hero shooter, released on August 23rd, failed to attract players despite eight years of development.

  • Game sold fewer than 25,000 copies
  • Peak of only 697 players on Steam
  • Full refunds offered to all purchasers
  • Possible return as free-to-play model
